  • Create new pages
  • View index.html in Notepad.
  • On the Menu Bar, click File, then Save As.
  • Save the page with the file name richmond.html in the Travel folder.
  • Title the new page Richmond, VA.

  • Beneath the graphic, insert a new paragraph:
  • Richmond, Virginia

  • Richmond is the capital of Virginia.

  • Add the word Home in a new paragraph in the links area:
  • Home

  • Richmond

  • Williamsburg

  • Charleston

  • Go to:
  • www.inpics.net/files/html/travelpic/richpic
  • Capture the Richmond, Virginia graphic there (capitol.jpg) and save it in the graphics folder
  • Save richmond.html, then view it in the browser.
  • The page should look like this:
  • Create pages for Williamsburg and Charleston just like the Richmond page.
  • Get the graphic and text for the Williamsburg page at:

    www.inpics.net/files/html/travelpic/willpic

    Get the Charleston page's graphic and text at:

    www.inpics.net/files/html/travelpic/charlpic

    • Using the words Richmond, Williamsburg, Charleston, and Home in the links area of each page, link all the pages in this Web site to each other.
    • TIP: Don't forget to transform the link that shows "You Are Here" into bold, plain text.
    • Align all graphics to the left.

    Give them vspace of 4 pixels and hspace of 12 pixels.

    • In format.css, change the pages' background color to white, then save it.
    • TIP: In the body formatting, use background:#ffffff.
    • When you're done, preview the site in the browser.
    • It should look and work like the one at:
