Format cells / Add borders / Shift alignment



Change cell color
  1. Drag from cell E14 to E15 to highlight both cells.

  2. In the Ribbon, click Cell Styles.

  3. When the Styles grid appears, click 20% - Accent1.

  4. Click the worksheet.

    The cells should look like this:

    Add borders

Click and drag from cell E14 to cell F15 to highlight the four cells.

    In the Ribbon, click Format, then Format Cells.

    When the Format Cells window appears, click the Border tab.

    Click the button.

    Click the button.
    Click the worksheet.

    The cells should be outlined:

    Shift alignment
    Highlight cells A4 through A7.

    In the Ribbon, click the icon.

    Click the worksheet.

    The text in the cells should be right-aligned:

    Highlight the same cells again.
    Click the icon.

    The text should be centered in the cells:
